This scene caught my eye as I was attempting to clear ice in my driveway. It is interesting to note that the sunset was on the opposite side of the valley.
Anybody who photographs the sky will know that it changes quickly, especially when a front is moving in or out. The difference between shots here is mere minutes, although I did move back a bit and changed to a wide angle view. I have not touched the colors in either photo.

Clearing ice? Yuck. I am glad all of ours has been removed for the time being.
Haha, in hindsight, I should have taken a picture of the ice, too. That morning my car actually slid downhill because of the ice, and nearly collided with my husband's car!
The view up here is amazing!
